• March 2004 – August 2006 (extended until December 2007), Topic: The
Byzantine and the Western worlds: confrontations and mutual influences
from the 11th until the 15th centuries. Group of researchers coordinated
by Assistant Professor Athina Kolia-Dermitzaki, in collaboration with
Assistant Professor Triantafyllitsa Maniati-Kokkini and Associate
Professor Maria Dourou-Eliopoulou. Participation of Ph.D. candidates and
MA students.

program Heracleitus. Professor Antonis Liakos. Ph.D. candidate: Dimitra
Lambropoulou. Topic of Ph.D.: The people who built Athens (1960-1967). The
title was awarded in June 2008.
