Open Academic Courses UoA

During 2012-2015, the Faculty of History and Archaeology participated in the “Open Academic Courses” action of the Network Operation Centre, aiming at the development of open on line courses, available for frees much to the students of the University of Athens as to the wider public. The action entailed the collection and digitisation of class notes, presentations and other educational material. In addition, live education activities were recorded on video files. IP cameras were installed in various teaching areas in the School of Philosophy, which are thus available to the staff members for the future video recording of lectures and there educational activities.  The Faculty of History and Archaeology has an active participation in this attempt to upgrade the educational process and strengthen the social role of the University, with 23 courses (22 undergraduate and one postgraduate).
